Spicy Peanut Sauce

spicy peanut sauce

This goop right here is the holy grail.

Making cruciferous vegetables edible & slaying hunger like nobody's business - everyone needs a go-to spicy peanut sauce recipe in their back pocket for when the craving hits.

And as I shamelessly reveal in the recipe for my go-to Warm Thai Peanut Salad, spicy peanut cravings really dominate my calendar these days.

Made with just 5 pantry staples and completely customizable to your spice tolerance and desired consistency, there's nothing you won't want to smother in this stuff.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

Prep time: 10 miN

Total time: 10 min

Makes: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter

  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar

  • 2-3 Tbsp sriracha

  • Water, to desired consistency

Directions:

Whisk together all ingredients in a small bowl until well combined. Add water a tablespoon at a time and stir until the desired consistency is reached.

Serve immediately over Asian salads & bowls, brown rice noodles, teriyaki skewers, or my Warm Spicy Thai Peanut Salad.   Also serves as a delicious dip for fresh rolls and sushi too.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days and ENJOY!
